While Trocadero is the most known location for amazing family photos with the Eiffel Tower, in the afternoon it gets very crowded, especially in the summer. For this reason, we recommend the Bir Hakeim bridge as an alternative spot for the Eiffel Tower view. Besides, it’s in walking distance from the Seine River bank that also has a great perspective over the Iron lady.

Paris family photos tip: always include a few couples photos along with the traditional family photos and solo portraits. As parents, we’re not getting younger and it’s nice to look back at these images and see how good we looked as young parents.

1. Trocadéro is the best Eiffel Tower photo spot.

The Esplanade de Trocadéro is the place that offers the most spectacular view over Eiffel Tower. While some renovation works are still in place, most of the photo spots are now available. The aim of the works is to build the largest garden in Paris, with a 1.6km long green space around the Eiffel Tower to allow pedestrians and cyclists to move around freely. What spots around Trocadéro are not available anymore?

There is one spot that is permanently not available for pictures: the wall. Meaning that it’s not possible to take photos sitting on the wall anymore. The reason for this is that the top of the wall was modified to make sitting impossible. See the photos below.

2. Avenue de Camoëns. Second best Eiffel Tower photo spot.

This is a quiet street that offers a great view over the Eiffel Tower. The uniqueness of this place is the beautiful architecture that surrounds the street. The typical Haussmanian buildings offer that one of a kind Parisian charm.

3. Bir Hakeim bridge (Inception bridge)

The Bir Hakeim bridge, famous from the movie Inception with Leonardo DiCaprio has one of the most spectacular views overlooking the Eiffel Tower. The uniqueness of this Eiffel Tower spot is the fact that the bridge itself is beautiful and can make for a cool backdrop for your Paris pictures.

4. The Seine River – Romantic Eiffel Tower Photo Spot

There is something about water that makes it romantic. Many couples choose to celebrate their marriage on a river cruise on the Seine River. There is a great spot close to the Tower that offers a gorgeous view and it’s perfect for romantic pictures. If the water means something to you as a couple, then this spot should be on the list.

5. Promenade Marie de Roumanie

This spot is probably one of the prettiest around the Eiffel, especially during the warm season. There are several Parisian benches that are great props for pictures. However, the uniqueness of this location are the blossoming roses. Red, purple, white, yellow, simply choose the color that matches your photo shoot outfits.

6. Rue de l’Université

This cute little street is right next to the Eiffel Tower. The view is quite spectacular due to the proximity of the tower, which measures 1063 ft.

7. Pasarelle Debilly

This pedestrian bridge is in walking distance from the Eiffel Tower and the well known exquisite restaurant Monsieur Bleu. More and more people leave their love-locks on this bridge (we don’t encourage such gestures by the way, to preserve the looks of the city), so in your pictures, you’ll see these as well.

8. Rue Saint Dominique

This spot is a bit further from the Eiffel Tower, close to the Café Le Recrutement. The typical Parisian buildings and a street that breaths Parisian air are the ideal setting for romantic street pictures with the Eiffel Tower.

9. Alexander 3 bridge

If all the other spots that we mentioned earlier are within walking distance from the Tower, to get to the Alexander 3 bridge we recommend to take public transportation or taxi/uber. The bridge is probably one of the best photography spots in Paris. The incredibly elegant architecture and the beautiful golden details make it perfect for romantic photos. Plus, you can get the Eiffel Tower in your pictures.

Café Photos

If you are on a Paris photo session itinerary, after so many pictures with the Eiffel Tower and walking, you’d appreciate a strategic stop in a Parisian café. We recommend Casé Castel that is very close to the Tower and has great cappuccino. If you have booked a multi-hours photo shoot, then you can change outfits here for your next location. Proposing at the top of the Eiffel Tower is a classic swoon-worthy move though. You can pop a bottle of champagne and get down on one knee with sweeping views of Paris in the background.

If you’re worried about the crowds, propose in the middle where there’s more room to move around and come early!

Trocadéro

Trocadero is the best place in Paris for an Eiffel Tower proposal. From the large square overlooking the Seine River to the famous ledge – you’ll have your pick of incredible views. It gets crowded very fast, so it’s best to get there very early in the morning. During important events, including Paris Fashion Week, the access to Trocadéro gets restricted. For these moments, the alternative are these Eiffel Tower photo spots ! They are also great spots for other types of events, such as an Eiffel Tower wedding.

If you want no one else in your proposal photos, arrive early in the morning for beautiful golden light!

For a sunset proposal at the Eiffel Tower, you’ll want to travel to Paris over the low season between October to April. There won’t be a lot of people around, and you’ll get gorgeous photos of the Eiffel Tower lit up in the background.

Alexander 3 Bridge

The Pont Alexandre III Bridge is one of the most beautiful bridges in the world. It overs views of iconic Parisian landmarks including the Eiffel Tower.

The best time to plan an Eiffel Tower proposal here is at sunset. You’ll have the Iron Lady in the background, and the light will hit the gold details of the bridge, creating a magical moment as you get down on one knee. There will be many people around though!

3. How do Paris Photo Shoots work?

Regardless of the type of photo shoot, we take pictures outside and to capture the beautiful images that you have seen on our website, we need to keep a certain distance. Social distancing is therefore automatically respected.

Do you need to wear a mask during the photo shoot?

Outdoors, you don’t need to wear a mask. When we take photos in a Parisian café, you’ll be sitting outside (in the terrace), so you’ll not need to wear a mask there either. Indoors, let’s say in a hotel room or balcony, we’ll make sure to wear a mask, so you’ll not need to wear one.

Besides the aspects mentioned above, our Paris photo sessions unfold normally.

4. What if I need to reschedule due to travel restrictions?

We understand the uncertainty that the current international context creates. Therefore we are flexible about rescheduling and postponing your photo shoot for reasons related to travel or health. Simply send an email to the photographer that you have booked and he will update your reservation to a new date and time.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We have a cancellation policy that allows you to get a refund for your retainer, up to 5 days prior to the photo shoot date. However, given the current context, you can cancel up to 1 day prior to the photo shoot for bookings made in the first half of 2022. To get a refund, please send us an email and our support team will process your refund and cancel your photo shoot.

This article explores our adventure of creating fashion photos in Santorini during the summer of 2020. Santorini is one of the most beautiful Greek islands and as opposed to other famous Mediterranean islands, it is not known for its white sandy beaches. Santorini can be recognized for the mountainy landscape, as it is a volcanic island. All to say that it’s the ideal setting for fashion photos in Santorini.

Step 1 – Open the gallery shop

Head to your gallery and in the main menu click on Shop.

Step 2 – Open the product “calendars”

Select the product calendars from the product list of the gallery shop.

This will open the calendars section, where you will be able to choose the calendar type and size.

Step 3 – Select the calendar type, size and layout

When you are creating the photo calendar for gift, you have the option to choose the calendar type based on if the calendar will be hanged on a wall or will be set on a table, desk or furniture.

The calendars come in 3 sizes, depending on the calendar type. The sizes are: 6×9″, 8×12″ and 11×17″.

You also have the option to choose the month when the calendar will start. it doesn’t have to be January 2021 for example.
